Electrical Data Center Technician (Level 2)
We are seeking an Electrical Data Center Technician to support operations and maintenance within a mission-critical data center environment. This is a fulltime employee position based in Mechanicsburg, PA, requiring onsite work in a fully operational data center. The role focuses on maintaining uptime, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and supporting infrastructure critical to continuous operations. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems within a data center environment
- Support and maintain power infrastructure including UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, generators, and automatic transfer switches
- Monitor and work with building and energy management systems (BMS and EPMS)
- Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics using testing equipment such as multimeters, DLROs, and infrared scanning tools
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Respond to system alerts and support rapid issue resolution to maintain uptime
- Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of overall work experience, including at least 3 years in a fully operational data center
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including switchgear, generators, and UPS systems
- Experience working with both AC and DC power systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues
- Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to obtain an Electrical License through the City of Harrisburg within one year of hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
