SENIOR MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER CONSULTANT – HYBRID SCHEDULE

Our client, a major membership-based organization, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Project Manager Consultant in Washington, DC.  The hybrid schedule supports remote work on Monday and Friday and on-site Tuesday through Thursday in the Washington, DC office.

The Senior Marketing Project Manager Consultant will serve as an advisor to business unit leaders on the adoption of the organization's latest marketing technologies and capabilities. This role also involves guiding business units through the implementation of these advancements, ensuring the full realization of their potential benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the awareness, planning, execution, and delivery of marketing projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are aligned with business goals and timelines are met.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure that third-party vendors meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on marketing technology projects.
  • Experience working with Confluence, Jira, and project management software such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset coupled with a high-level of initiative to make an immediate impact.
  • PMP certification preferred.
