We're seeking a Commissioning Engineering Leader to build and lead a growing engineering team enhancing the performance, safety, and reliability of electrical systems at various facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for technical execution, mentoring engineers, and supporting complex electrical infrastructure projects.

U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of electrical engineers
• Perform Arc Flash Hazard Analysis (IEEE 1584 & NFPA 70E)
• Conduct short circuit, coordination, and load flow studies
• Develop electrical system models using SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar software
• Review one-line diagrams, protective device settings, and engineering reports
• Provide technical guidance on electrical safety and code compliance
• Support proposals, client meetings, and project execution
• Travel up to 25% to project sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Leadership or project management experience
• Experience with Arc Flash, power system studies, and electrical distribution systems
• Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar software
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, NEC, and OSHA standards
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
