Vice President of Marketing

We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead and scale the marketing organization for a fast-growing strength and performance brand serving athletes worldwide. This full-time position is onsite in Nampa, Idaho and reports directly to the CEO. The role will oversee brand, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, social/content, creator partnerships, PR, and ecommerce growth initiatives across DTC, Amazon, and wholesale channels. What You’ll Do

  • Lead and evolve the company’s overall brand strategy across all customer touchpoints
  • Drive integrated marketing campaigns across paid, organic, social, lifecycle, and ecommerce channels
  • Own DTC growth initiatives across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon Ads
  • Manage and optimize key marketing metrics including MER, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and attribution
  • Build and maintain a strong testing and optimization culture across channels and creative assets
  • Partner with Finance to manage the marketing budget and marketing-related P&L
  • Develop and scale lifecycle marketing initiatives including email, SMS, loyalty, segmentation, and personalization strategies
  • Lead organic social strategy, creator partnerships, ambassador programs, and community engagement efforts
  • Oversee PR initiatives, brand storytelling, and major cultural or product moments
  • Partner with Ecommerce leadership on conversion rate optimization (CRO), PDP strategy, and customer experience improvements
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches
  • Support international growth initiatives across markets including the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing organization
  • Manage agencies, vendors, and external marketing partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Finance, and Ecommerce leadership teams

What You’ll Bring

  • 12+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a senior marketing leadership role such as VP or CMO
  • Experience scaling a DTC or omnichannel consumer brand, ideally at $150M+ in revenue
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, ecommerce growth, and digital acquisition strategies
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and performance metrics including MER, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and attribution modeling
  • Proven ability to lead both brand marketing and performance marketing organizations
  • Experience building and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Background within fitness, strength training, sports performance, or athletic apparel industries
  • Experience scaling creator, athlete, or ambassador programs into measurable revenue channels
  • Experience working within founder-led or high-growth private companies
  • Hands-on experience with platforms and tools such as Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, Triple Whale, or Northbeam
  • Experience supporting international expansion efforts is preferred
