MICROSOFT POWER APPS DEVELOPER – REMOTE IN WASHINGTON, DC
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer to design and develop custom business applications that improve productivity and streamline workflows. This is a 12+ month contract position that is primarily remote, but candidates must be based in the Washington, DC area and available for occasional onsite work.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience building low-code/no-code solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, with preference given to those with 15+ years of overall application development experience.
What You’ll Do:
• Design and build scalable business applications using Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
• Automate workflows and approvals with Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop flows).
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure services.
• Develop custom connectors and utilize REST APIs for seamless integrations.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability across deployments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications as needed.
• Document development processes and provide training to end users.
What You’ll Bring:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Strong knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, SQL Server, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, and JSON for custom development.
• Understanding of business process automation and solution design.
• Ability to join immediately and work independently with minimal supervision.
Bonus Points For:
• 5-10 years of overall application development experience.
• Experience with AI Builder and Power Virtual Agents.
• Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps and Microsoft Graph API.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration.
